BASIC FUNCTION: The Night Auditor is responsible for guest service to include checking in/out of guests, answering phones and resolving guest issues, reconciles daily restaurant, bar, credit card system, as well as posting account balances and daily transaction list from rooms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Greets guests promptly, and smiles while

interacting with guest and fellow employees.

2. Checks guests in and out of the hotel.

3. Resolves billing issues while checking guests out.

4. Communicates clearly and easily with previous

shift and morning shift.

5. Notifies management of internal and external

customer service issues promptly.

6. Reconciles daily and month’s end internal

departmental financials.

7. Reconciles guests’ credit card billing nightly.

8. Creates reports for general manager, comptroller,
